Q: I saved some searches on my home computer, but now I'm at work and they're all gone. What happened?
gumshoo™ uses cookies to save your searches. That means that your searches are saved on a per computer basis. We do this so that our users don't have to register in order to save a search. We will periodically revisit the decision to use cookies instead of registration and make adjustments in the future as necessary.Q: I don't see any search results / I can't go to eBay from gumshoo™.

You may also want to make sure that you are searching in 'All Categories'.Q: I'm using the latest version of Internet Explorer, but I still don't see search results / can't go to eBay.

- Click the Custom Level... button
- Scroll to the Settings section labeled Active Scripting and click the Enable radio
- Click OK
- Click OK again

Check to see if you have the Adblock extension installed (Tools > Extensions). If so, you may be blocking some URLs that are required in order to display gumshoo™ search results. Please ensure that you are not blocking URLs which contain adfarm.mediaplex, lapi.ebay, thumbs.ebaystatic, cj.com, or commissionjunction.com (for more info on why these are required, please see how we make money). You can remove these entries from Adblock by going to the Tools menu in Firefox and selecting Adblock > Preferences. From the Preferences window, right-click each URL you would like to remove and select Delete from the menu. Click Done when finished.
You may also want to ensure that you have not installed the Adblock Filterset.G Updater extension because it may re-block these URLs on it's next update. To remove this extention go to the Tools menu in Firefox and select Extensions. In the Extensions window, click on Adblock Filterset.G Updater and then click the Uninstall button. Close and re-open your browser.
